What is inbox0?
An email app on top of your Gmail that sorts every email with rules and AI, sends the work to the right person or tool, and drafts your replies in the sender’s language. For your own email, and for teams.
Which email works with inbox0?
Gmail and Google Workspace. You connect a mailbox in a few clicks, and nothing changes in Gmail itself: you can keep using it next to inbox0.
Why is there a waiting list?
We let new people in every week, so we can help everyone get set up well. Join the list and we’ll email you when it’s your turn.
Is there an app for my phone and computer?
Yes: inbox0 runs in your browser, and as an app on your phone and your computer, with the same inboxes everywhere.
AI and credits
What does the AI do?
It sorts emails no rule catches, suggests the next step and a reply, writes drafts in the sender’s language, and reads emails to send their fields to your tools. It never sends anything on its own.
What are AI credits?
Every AI action uses credits from one pool. One credit is 10,000 tokens, the words the AI reads and writes; small jobs cost 1 credit. You get 100 to start, 1,000 with every paid plan, and you can buy packs.
Can I use inbox0 without AI?
Yes. Rules, inboxes, automations, comments and the apps work without AI and without credits.
Privacy
Is my email used to train AI?
No. The AI runs in the EU under a data processing agreement. Neither we nor our AI provider train models on your email.
Where is my email stored?
In the EU (Paris), encrypted in transit, with nightly backups kept for 30 days.
Can I leave and take my data?
Yes. You can export your data at any time. Disconnect a mailbox and our access stops at once.
Teams and pricing
Is it really free for personal use?
Yes, for as long as you want: up to 3 Gmail addresses, rules, the Assistant and the apps. Only extra AI credits cost money.
How does the team price work?
Team and Business are priced per user per month. Yearly gives you 2 months free. Your AI credits are shared by the whole team.
What happens when I switch to a smaller plan?
Nothing is deleted. You keep all your emails, inboxes and rules; you just can’t add more than the plan allows.
Can I pay by invoice?
Yes, for yearly plans and credit packs. Reach out to our sales team.
